So, what’s music production?:
Let’s say you have a band, or you’re a singer with some songs or even an album worth of ideas ready to conquest the world!.
The next big thing you need to do is to record, so you can show your material to everybody and people from the music industry.
At this point you might be asking yourself these questions: But how?, where do I go to record?, how much would it cost?, should I do everything in my computer, or record at my friend’s garage?, where do I find good musicians to record my ideas with?… and the list of questions goes on and on!
A good music producer should be the guy (or girl) answering all these questions for you!.
The producer’s roles include selecting the studio, controlling the recording sessions, keeping the budget, coaching and guiding the musicians, gathering the ideas of the project, directing the creativity, and supervising the recording, mixing and mastering processes.
My work as a producer:
Every musical project is different!, that’s why I design a production plan for every project and every budget.
I’ll work with you or your band on finding the right arrangements, vocal lines and harmonies, instrument parts, electronics, loops, keys and even training your drummer to play to a click track!. I’ll be with you supervising the recording, mixing and mastering of the project, and even help you create the live performance after the production is done!
My goal is not to get rich!, but to create a platform for new local artists to develop in the harsh environment of the unsigned world.
The IntiGalaxy Studio:
I like to think of it as my production suite!. This is the space available at no extra charge to work on your music. We’ll do everything here: rehearsals, pre-production sessions and pre-production recordings. The studio is fully equipped as both a rehearsal room, and a Digital Audio Workstation (DAW). This allows me to record every step of the process for reviewing and arranging before going to the recording studio!.
The IntiGalaxy Studio is located in Long Island City,at just 5 mins from Manhattan in New York City, USA.

I wanted to expand the sound of the band by using a lot of keys and loops, and even some string arrangements here and there, but my main concern was to keep their live performance true to the album, so recording to a click track was fundamental.

- 3nigma is one of the bands in the New York Local scene that is working really hard. I started producing a single for them (Ausencia) a couple of years ago. After that they asked me to produced their firs demo EP. It took almost a year to prepare the band, and to work on the structure of the songs and arrangements, but I feel that the effort was well invested!. The creation of this demo is now leading us to continue with the whole album!.
I think 3nigma is one of the Latin bands to look after here in NYC. They’re 4 young cats with nice chemistry and with a lot of future.
Ascmed Balanta “Pruebame”

- Ascmed is a singer songwriter form Cali Colombia. He came to me with a selection of songs in many different styles and some prerecorded tracks. My job here was to finish the production, Recording and Mixing of this single.
We replaced the drum programming with Indira Balanta (Acsmed sister) laying down the drum tracks .
It was recorded once again at the Music Lab with Lou Gimenez as the engineer and Mastered at MasterDisk by Randy Merrill.
Darcie Marti “Tu gloria mi anhelo”

- Darcie was looking to record her first debut album as a religious singer. She had the basic form for the songs and some chords and melodies, so my job was to Orchestrate, Perform, Produce, Record and Mix all the instruments. There were also some guest musicians like Saty Jimenez on Piano, Daniel Alicea on Sax and other singers as well.
Darcie is an incredible singer, with a very appealing tone to her voice, it was great to have the chance to produce her record, that actually came to be my first full album!.
Evan Farmer “Paradise”

- Evan is better known as the host of the TLC TV program called “While you were Out”, the MTV series “2Get+Her”, or the new host for CMT’s top 20 Count Down! . He’s also a great singer song writer. I met Evan when a friend and excellent bass player (Ze Grey) invited me to audition as a guitar player for Evan’s band. Since then we became really good friends and I had the opportunity to produced this single for him and to Design and Develop his websites. I performed and programmed all the instruments with the exception of the bass (played by Ze Grey), and the acoustics guitar (played by Evan).
