A couple of months ago I started working with Solangi and Edison from Kronicas. They came to me looking to improve their sound and to record the material they have been working on with previous bands members for quite some time.

They really wanted to keep a classic rock style without sounding outdated, so after listening to all of their songs I suggested we star with the power ballad called “Princess of Darkness”. I felt this kind of song will be flexible enough to experiment with sounds and different colors to achieve the right style for them.

The basic structure, guitars and production are done already! we just finished tracking real drums (performed at the Music Lab studio by Drummer Juan Felipe Mayorga) to replace the programming used for pre production, and now we’re up to vocals with Sol.

Renato Milone is an Italian born Drummer / Producer and a Berklee College graduate, that was looking to develop his first website.

He contacted me when checking out my work here on my site.

After a very nice meeting in midtown Manhattan, where we talked about new ideas for his website, music and some international affairs, we both started brainstorming the project.

Renato wanted a clean looking site that loads fast, and that represents his persona and his work. He also wanted a not too serious look, to make it friendly to people interested in his work and music. The other request was to try to separate his work and services as a Drummer and a Music Producer, so that people interested in each service could easily get to the right content.

• Year: 2011
• Services: Multi Track live recording, Audio Editing and Mixing, Live Sound.
• We did a full service this day for the SAMF at Times Square! Providing live sound for the 10 performances and recording the entire 4 hour festival. Later on we did all the audio editing and created the final track for the promotional DVD and youtube video you see here. It was a great night, and we had a blast doing it, even when we only had one hour to set up both the live sound PA and the live recording rig! The audio in this video is not our mix! Our audio is yet to be included

Hi all my name is Inti Maldonado!:

IntiGalaxy Productions its my effort to offer a variety of good quality services to Artist, Musicians and Organizations trying to Develop their projects and/or Ideas. I’m Based in New York City, USA, with my production suite (the IntiGalaxy Studio) located at 5 mins from Manhattan in Long Island City Queens.

But…Who’s Inti Maldonado?:

Since I normally don’t like Bios, (I think everybody tries too hard to impress the readers with these things) I’ll just try to explain how I got where I’m at, and how I learned to do all the things I do.
I’m from Caracas, Venezuela. Lived there till I was 19 years old and then (don’t really know why) decided to move to New York. I’ve been here since then.
At the age of 14 I went to a Yamaha institute of music to learn guitar. Later on signed up to study at the conservatory of music “Jose Angel Lamas”. Right about that time and to fulfill my “Rock Guitar Hero Needs” (NOT THE GAME) I started to take lessons with a great guitarist called Miguel Gonzales (Franco de Vita, Maria Rivas, and many more).
During this time I was also playing with many local bands. One of those bands “Thorvald” won the first “Jim Morrisson Music Festival” competing against 28 bands from all around the country. With that same band I’ve got to play at the “Festival de Nuevas Bandas” of 1996…if I remember well. Then I left Caracas.

New York, New York:

The first few years in this city were as hard as they get to any immigrant trying to be part of this wonderful but difficult environment. But after a couple of “God’s Chess Moves” I was back to playing and studying music.
Just to make it short, I informally studied jazz, harmony and orchestration with any institution and/or music teacher I could get my hands onto. I started playing for the United Methodist Church as a Musical Director for churches and Choirs around the NYC area and later around the country. I also recorded a few albums for the General Board of Global Ministries as well as performing as a guitarist for many of their events. Around that time I also had a chance to work for Musical Theater companies as a Musical Director and/or guitar player for their productions.
